I was in the middle of crafting and creating my new personal development and life coaching experience – Being Elevated Lifestyle, when I started feeling a bit anxious.
I asked myself where is this feeling came from, and then I realized I am comfortable and confident giving speeches and presentations in person but not as confident in my skills to do them on camera and online.
I was apprehensive as well about creating content. I was concerned about how I would look and sound on camera and what people would think and say about me. Would anyone even watch my videos?
I keep pushing back my taping sessions for everything: the new website, the Being Elevated Lifestyle YouTube channel, the launch date for the Podcast – Steps In Between, and live videos for Elevated Living, the philanthropic arm of Being Elevated Lifestyle to help fund & Finance the dreams of getting started in business or new product line for Emerging and purpose-driven creators, entrepreneurs, authors, pastors, poets, etc.
That was when the idea and thought were birthed.

In Washington, DC, to fast-forward & maximize my communication practice hours, I would visit other speaking clubs in the area.
Toastmasters International is a worldwide organization that helps you practice your communication skills through leadership.
Living in Washington, DC, allows you to easily choose from close to 199 Toastmasters clubs in this small geographic area. DC is the personal development capital of the world. Everyone wants to become better at something!
A large number of people move to Washington, DC, each season, including federal employees, White House and Capitol Hill staffers, non-profit association executives, and International Embassy staffers.
The effects of COVID-19 push us into the online world, and we need a way to practice honing new skills for the changing season.
As a business, fitness, speech, and life coach, I spend a lot of time giving wisdom, practical tips, and direct strategies to help others maximize their potential and enjoy a better quality of life.
Toastmasters is one of the places I use to practice my personal and professional development.
Practicing my skills in communication, listening, presenting, and evaluating, using speech contests to practice against pressure, and hearing stories from people from different cultures, ages, and stages of life.
It was during that season, when I was seeking to practice new skills for a changing season, that I came up with an idea that would change my life and communication skills.
I decided to work towards another Distinguished Toastmasters Award.
The DTM is the highest leadership & service award in Toastmasters.
I completed it a few times before. My first was completed in the first 2 years and 1 day after I joined Toastmasters over a decade ago. This time I wanted to practice the requirements for this award online “digitally.
Rather than getting on the red, yellow; blue, orange, and green train lines in DC and visiting other clubs, (even going over to Maryland and Virginia ) I could club-hop around the US.
It was the beginning of the year, and I thought about visiting 52 online clubs in 52 weeks in 2024.
That is how US Digital Tour was birthed
Visiting 1 online club in each state in 2024.
Starting in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC, and ending there, Washington, DC.
I invite you to join me on my tour, as I go from state to state.
Giving a new speech every week, and connecting with new friends.
If you would like to visit your club, please send an invitation. Linkedin: @Hareldau Argyle “The Healthy Entrepreneur Coach”
